Duties and responsibilities:
- This is a new role for a large initiative to build out data
- Project name: HMHS data as a service initiative
- Contract only position
- This department is responsible for Platform reporting.
- The resource will build out data virtualization layer across platform.
- Must have skills: one solid year of experience as a Denodo Developer; Platform 7.0 is required; must have database reporting experience.
- DEN70EDUCD certification nice to have but not required.
- Denodo specific skills include: data virtualization, architecture and components, admin tools, virtual DataPort, combining data sets; platform cache, scheduler, data modeling, security, optimization and data/metadata management
- Client facing experience nice to have but not required.
- Industry experience nice to have but not required.
- Candidates who can work in Pittsburgh M-F on site will have first consideration. 100% remote work will be considered but the candidate must work the first 4 weeks on site in Pittsburgh without expense reimbursement.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
