IT Subcontractors
Location: Nationwide

Selected candidates will perform basic-advanced computer tasks consisting of but not limited to on/off site diagnostic, computer repair, printer setup for business and residential, phone/tablet repair, remote support, onsite visits, VOIP, hardware/software installation, office moves, transferring files, install OS, backup and restore, email setup, virus removal, home/business network setup and computer setup.
Must Have:
Experience with everything Mac, Windows, printers, phone/tablet, VOIP, email setup, network setup, anything else necessary to complete job.
Description:
The IT Subcontractor installs, updates, and repairs personal computer hardware, software, and network service systems.
Maintains and implements desktop solutions in support of organizational business needs.
Provides professional-level phone support to customers.
Troubleshoot and replace laptop and PC hardware.
Perform hardware upgrades, hardware disposal, remote imaging, remote and automated updates, and remote support. Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for difficult user problems.
Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Apple iPad tablets and IPhones.
Perform desktop computer updates to safeguard from malicious viruses and malware.
Manage customer issues and requests.
Build\deploy new workstations (desktops & laptops).
Install\upgrade hardware\software on Windows workstations.
Troubleshoot assigned job to determine if issue can be resolved and determine appropriate plan of action.
Maintain positive relations through effective customer follow-up.
Be available on-call as needed.
Must be available to travel domestically to client residence/business.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Excellent time management, decision making, and organization skills.
Knowledge of setting up remote access for users.
Must be able to work independently to identify and resolve issues.
Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals
Working knowledge of current communications devices desktop technologies.
Experienced in VOIP/PBX telephony systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
Execute other tasks as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- H.S diploma/GED preferred
- MCP/A+ good to have
- Must have experience as a Desktop Support Technician or experience in related discipline in a small to medium environment of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Windows 10 ,7 and Macs
- If need be- must be able to lift heavy objects (50lbs or more): assistance can be solicited.
