Powerbuilder Support Roles Job Responsibilities Programmer/Support Analyst
  • Responsible for development works related to process improvement, enhancements, or bug fix initiatives assuring optimal business and functional delivery for in-scope applications
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across business unit/area level of management continuing to promote and continually broaden the level of business knowledge and the impact of quality/process improvement projects and programs.
  • Participate in planning sessions with business owners to improve business processes and associated applications
  • Participate and support business case development process to identify change execution impacts to people, process, and technology solutions to achieve business objectives
  • Participate and support the Change Execution Process assuring resource alignment/impacts are aligned with the process governance model
  • Collaborate with release planning and implementation functions across varying divisions and business platforms
  • Ensure all changes to processes are reflected in the repository of process documentation
  • Access and analyze processes, data points, and controls to determine sub-optimal performance, communicate findings clearly and effectively and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work to meet all Hershey Incident SLA's within defined timelines
Provide task list, risks/benefits, detailed estimate of level of effort & feasibility to complete the following & impact on migration to Windows 2019 cluster:
  • Upgrade PCM to latest version of PowerBuilder
  • Migrate code base from CVS to GitHub
  • Move PCM application off Oracle 9 on to upgrade version
  • Move PCM and any other impacted PowerBuilder applications/batch jobs to run to full completion on new/current server

  • Mid-Level Interface Diagram that include names of supporting solutions/tools
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
