Job Profile Sumary:
Project Manager will oversee day to day operations and assist in the planning and day-to-day coordination of all efforts associated with making transition of our client's Centralized Tech Recruiting program a success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and sets the agenda for all meetings related to the program, which includes the programs Steering Committee, working group and board.
- Plans all events related to the program including its training program
- Maintains and reports the full range of program metrics
- Stands up and managing day to day recruitment efforts, examples include
- Track candidates pipeline ensuring properly scheduling for Phone Screens, and IH Interviews
- Assist in the production of program communication materials, including training packs, presentations, etc.
- Leverages strong technical working knowledge to participate in a wide array of activities associated with planning and managing small project for Global Technology organization.
- Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to internal client specifications.
- With some guidance, develops the budget and statement of work for small technology projects, including project justification and plan. Responsible for monitoring project financials and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner. Follows financial standards and processes (e.g., monthly external revenue accruals, procurement, and external payments).
- Coordinates business SMEs and stakeholders to ensure project is appropriately staffed and resources are properly aligned and managed. Maintains regular contact with internal clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
- Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. Takes meeting minutes and distributes to project team.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience managing projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suites
- People management and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using JIRA and/or GlobalNet
- Decomposes the most complex problems into discrete work units
- Balances strategic and pragmatic concerns when solving problems
- Makes sound decisions with limited facts or resources
- Continuously looks for process improvements
- Influence abilities enabling the coordination between a variety of stakeholders
- Questions and challenges choices as part of planning at the portfolio level
- Strong sense of process and process engineering
- Proactively helps project team members and makes suggestions to improve practices
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- PMP or PMI certification would be a plus
